Weyes Blood

Check out Weyes Blood’s fine cover of Soft Machine´s "A Certain Kind" on the 7" "A Certain Kind" b/w "Everybody’s Talkin’" (Mexican Summer 2017, ltd. ed. 500 copies).

You may listen and buy over here on Bandcamp.

Wow what a voice, best performance of "A Certain Kind" possible. Almost if it was specially written for Natalie Mering.
I'm glad to discover this, immediately ordered this single and the latest CD.
Her singing reminds me of Sandy Danny.

cheers,
Arie
